Writing posts to your team or organization

Every group within 360Player has a wall where team members can send posts. The wall makes it super easy to share everything from documents to messages, and you can be sure that the entire team gets notified regarding your message.

*In recent updates we have taken away the create button on the home screen on mobile, but now you can press the Post button directly from the home screen on mobile to create posts even more quickly!

In this guide you will learn:

  1. How to create a wall post
  2. How to send a post to multiple groups in the organization

How to create a wall post

1
From the mobile home screen, press post to create a post. On the desktop version press the plus button, then select post.

2
Fill in the info on your post. You can:

1. Add a Title
2. Write your content. Share a YouTube video or Instagram post by linking them here.
3. Add an attachment. You can add images, PDF's and other file types.

Keep in mind team posts will be posted in just one group. By selecting multi-group you can select more groups to publish the post in. You can find more on this below.

3
You can also expand the Advanced settings. Here we will find some extra options:

1. Send as - Choose who to send as. You can either send as yourself, or as the Team/Club you are active in. This is good for official communication.
2.  Visibility - Choose if you don't want to show the post to a certain type of user in the group. If your organization is using 360Player's website builder, mark the public option to display the post on your website.
3. Sticky post - A sticky post will stay on top of the wall. When turning on this option, you will have to set an end date when the post isn't sticky anymore.
4. Schedule - Choose to publish the post now, or save it as a draft for later. You can also schedule the post so it publishes at a later time.
5. Notification - Choose if all members of the team should get a notification when you publish your post.
4
Click Preview and you will be able to see a preview of your post before sending it.
5
We are all done! Now your post is live on the wall, and all teammates will have access to it!

How to send a post to multiple groups in the organization

360Player makes it easy for large organizations to communicate and one great way of effectively spreading information is through multi-group posts. With this feature you can create posts that show up on the walls for multiple teams or groups in your organization simultaneously.

1
Click the  Create button and choose  Post, or click on  Posts from the menu, then click New. The image below shows three places you can go to start a new post from the dashboard. On mobile, you can press the post button directly from the home screen.
2
Once in the post-creation module, be sure to select Multi group. If team post is selected, the post will only show up in the current group.
