Update a subscription

If you want to add new product's to a contacts existing subscription, reset the billing cycle, or change the price of a product, you can do it all through an update on the existing subscription.

Add products to a subscription

To update a subscription, navigate to the subscriptions tab, found below Payments, then select the subscription you want to update. Once inside the subscription, click Edit. You will enter the subscription edit view:

You can add products to the subscription by clicking Add products.

Then select the product that you want to add to the subscription.

Note that the price option you choose needs to have the same billing cycle as the other products in the subscription, meaning we can only add annually priced products if we already have an annual product on the subscription,

Once you have selected additional products, click Update subscription to submit your changes.

Change pricing of a subscription

To update a subscription, navigate to the subscriptions tab, found below Payments, then select the subscription you want to update. Once inside the subscription, click Edit. You will enter the subscription edit view:

To change the price or billing cycle of a product in a subscription, click on the pen icon on the product row.

A window will open where you can select other pricing options for the product, including other billing cycles, as well as change the quantity and tax rate associated with that product row.

Make you desired changes, like selecting another price, and click Next.

Note that once the update has been made, it will not be invoiced to your customer until the end of the current billing period. If you want to change the cycle immediately, check the Reset billing cycle option.
