How PositionMatch works

PositionMatch is a tool in 360Player that uses advanced algorithms, developed from a study of 15,000 professional players, to identify the best positions for players based on their assessment results.

Updated over 4 months ago

1. Position recommendations

  • Green positions: Indicate good matches for the player based on their current skills.

  • Red positions: Indicate positions that are not the best fit for the player.

  • Blue star: Highlights the player’s best position on the field.

  • Profile picture icon: Represents the position the player has currently selected.

For players under 15, you can use the physical development slider to account for variations in growth. This ensures fair evaluations for both early and late physical developers.

2. Training priorities

  • A list of skills the player should focus on is displayed under the position recommendations.

  • To view training suggestions, click on a skill or attribute you’d like the player to improve.

  • The training priorities will adjust automatically based on the position selected.

3. Assessment breakdown

  • Below the training priorities, you’ll find a detailed breakdown of the player's assessment results.

  • You can update or compare assessments by using the Update or Compare buttons at the top of the screen.

PositionMatch helps players and coaches align skills with the best-suited positions, while providing targeted training to enhance player performance.
