How coaches create assessments in 360Player

Create an assessment for a player — score them across skill categories, assign a position and primary foot, and feed the result into their development profile and PositionMatch.

As a coach, you can create assessments to score a player across skill categories, assign their preferred position and primary foot, and feed the result into their development profile and PositionMatch. Assessments are visible to the player on their profile once published.

Open the create assessment flow

The flow is the same on web and mobile — only the entry point differs.

  • On the web app — click the + icon in the top bar and choose Assessment.

  • In the mobile app — tap Create and choose Assessment.

Run the assessment

  1. Pick the player from the list. You can only assess players in teams you coach.

  2. Choose position — select where on the pitch you're assessing this player.

  3. Select the primary foot — left, right, or both.

  4. Set the physical development level — used to contextualize the rating against the player's maturity.

  5. Rate each category on a 1–10 scale. The categories shown depend on the position you selected.

  6. Review the suggested best-fit position — the system uses your ratings to suggest which position best matches the player's profile. You can keep your original choice or change it.

  7. Choose who can see the assessment, then click Save to publish.

What happens after you publish

  • The assessment appears on the player's profile under Development → Assessment.

  • The ratings feed into PositionMatch, which compares the player's profile against position requirements over time.

  • Each new assessment is stored separately, so you can track progress across the season by running periodic re-assessments on the same player.
