Communicating in 360Player
360Player is filled with smart communication solutions for you to use with your groups. You can do everything from creating one-on-one chats, to creating wall posts for all of your club members to see in an instant.
In this post, we will go through an overview of club communication, and the options that are available to you.
In this guide you will learn:
- How to create posts for a single team
- How to create multi-group posts to the entire organization
- Create chats and group chats
Step 1. Creating posts in a single team
Posts are the fastest way of sharing information with your team. All posts created in a group will appear on the Team Wall. You can find the wall on your Dashboard, together with other important information like the calendar and match statistics. All team members can share posts on the wall, except for parents. Posts can include anything from text, images, or files to YouTube-links, so you can be sure that all relevant info is shared. Here is the article on how to create a post: Writing posts to your team or organization.
To complete this step, share a post on the wall to your team!
Step 2. Creating multi-group posts
You now know how to create a post in a single team, and it is just as easy to create a post for the entire organization. The multi-group post feature is only accessible for Admins and Staff. When you send out a multi-group post, you can choose to share it with any group in your organization that is under the level of the group you are currently in, in the structure. If you need to handle your organization's structure to ensure the correct flow of communication, here is a guide on how to do it. When you send a multi-group post everyone receiving it will be notified in their mobile app, so you can be sure that the information gets out there.
Step 3. Chats and group chats
The chat feature in 360Player is great, since you can organize all your important day-to-day communication in one app. The chat supports both one-on-one chats, as well as group chats. This guide tells you all details you need to know regarding creating, managing, and understanding chats. The important parts to know are that chats can be used by everyone on the platform. Players can only initiate chats in their own group, while Admins and Staff can initiate chats with everyone in the organization. Parents can only chat with each other, or with Admins or Staff in their children's groups.
