Coaching staff record how many minutes each player played in a match. You decide which groups also show those minutes to players and parents.
Enter minutes played
Open the match from the Calendar and select the Minutes played tab.
Select Edit.
Enter the minutes for each player. To split a player's minutes across positions, select Add position and pick one or more positions.
To share the minutes evenly between the players, select Distribute minutes. It needs a lineup for the match, and it replaces minutes already entered — confirm with Overwrite.
Select Save.
The Minutes played tab is only visible to coaching staff.
Choose who sees minutes played
Players and parents see minutes played, and how they compare to the team average, on the player profile. They only see it in groups where it is turned on, and it is off until you turn it on. Coaching staff always see it; with roles and capabilities, that means anyone whose role has Playing time.
The setting is there for football, basketball, rugby union, rugby league and flag football. You need to be able to edit the group's settings to see it.
For the whole organization, open the top-level group and go to Settings > General. For one team, open the team and go to Group settings > General.
Find Minutes played.
Turn Show minutes played on or off. This changes the group and every group under it.
To pick single groups instead, select Manage groups next to Show minutes played for specific groups. Turn groups on or off and select Done. Turning a group on or off also changes the groups under it.
Manage groups only shows when the group has groups under it. Once some are on, the button shows how many. A new group starts with the same setting as the group it is created in.
Players on more than one team. The player profile adds up matches from every team the player is in. If any of those teams has minutes played off, the minutes are hidden on the whole profile. Only teams and groups count here, not the organization's own setting.
