Read game history

The match-by-match table for a team: results, competition, and the numbers your sport tracks.

Game History is the match-by-match table for a team: one row per game played, with the result and the headline numbers for your sport. It is the screen to open when the question is about a specific match rather than about the season.

Open it

Go to Games > Game History. The table covers the group you are in — open a team to see that team's matches, or the top level of the club to see across it.

Rows are sorted newest first. Click any row to open that match's event, where the statistics were entered.

What the columns are

Four columns are the same for everyone:

  • Team — the opponent, from your Opponents list.

  • Date — kickoff, and the default sort.

  • Result — the final score.

  • Competition — which competition the match belonged to, or blank for a friendly.

The columns after those depend on your sport, because they are the numbers that sport actually tracks. Football adds Yellow cards and Red cards; ice hockey adds Shots on goal and Penalty minutes. Other sports get their own. Every column is sortable, so the fastest way to find the bad-tempered games or the heavy defeats is to sort on the column rather than scroll.

Filter the period

The filter bar is shared by all three Games screens. The Date control offers This season, Last season, Past 90 days, Past 180 days and Custom. Next to it, Filter opens toggles for Home, Away and Friendly, plus one per competition — so you can look at away league games only, for example.

A season here means your club's season, not the calendar year — it starts in the month set under Settings > General. See How to set the season start month if the seasons look wrong.

What it does not show

  • Matches with no result entered. A fixture on the calendar appears here once it has statistics. If a played match is missing, the statistics were never saved — see Input match statistics.

  • Per-player numbers. This table is per match. For per-player totals across matches, use Player Statistics.

  • Trends. For form, goals scored and conceded, and the season shape, use Overview.

Troubleshooting

  • “Ready to track your progress?” The empty state, meaning no match in the selected period has statistics. Either the period is wrong — try Last season — or the results were never entered.

  • An opponent appears under two names. Two opponent records for one club. Merge them — see Manage opponents.

  • No Game History item in the menu. You do not have permission for it in this group. Ask a top-level administrator.
