Site Settings

Favicon, social & home-screen icons, site domain, analytics, redirects, backups, languages, and privacy pages — the site-wide settings to check before publishing.

What it is
Site Settings is where you configure a few site-wide technical details before you publish — things like your favicon and icons, Google Analytics, URL redirects, backups, extra languages, and privacy pages. We'll go through each one briefly below so you know where to find it; you likely won't need all of them right away.

What to do

  1. Click More (the three dots) — the last icon in the left side panel.

  2. Under Manage, click Settings.

Tips

Site Settings has more in it than most clubs will need right away — Favicon & Icons, Site Domain, and Site Languages are the ones worth looking at first.

Go through Site Settings before you publish, since a few of these (like Favicon & Icons) affect how your site looks and shares once it's live.

Favicon & Icons

What it is

Your favicon, social media share icon, and mobile device home screen icon are the small logo images that represent your site in a browser tab, when a page is shared on social media, and when someone adds your site to their phone's home screen.

What to do

  1. Upload your club's logo as the Favicon.

  2. Upload the same (or a variant) as the Social Media Icon and the Mobile Device Home Screen Icon.

Site Domain

This is where you set your site's domain — the free default 360player.club address, or your own custom domain. We'll walk through this in detail in the next and final step, Publish, so it isn't covered here.

Google Analytics & Tag Manager

What it is

Add your Google Analytics and/or Google Tag Manager tracking codes here to track visitor activity on your site.

What to do

  1. Paste your Google Analytics and/or Tag Manager ID into the fields provided.

  2. Alternatively, add custom tracking or other scripts directly via the Head and Body code fields.

URL Redirects

What it is

URL Redirects send visitors from an old or changed page address to a new one, so old links and bookmarks still work.

What to do

  1. Add the old URL and the new URL you want it to redirect to.

Site Backups

What it is

Every time you publish your site, a backup is created automatically. If you ever want to undo a change, you can restore an earlier version from here.

What to do

  1. Open Site Backups to see the list of previous versions.

  2. Select the version you want to restore.

Site Languages

What it is

Site Languages lets you add extra languages to your site, so visitors can view it translated.

What to do

  1. Add the language(s) you want your site to support.

Tips

Add extra languages last, once your main (default) language version is as complete as possible. Each language gets its own set of pages, so any change you make afterward has to be pushed to the other language versions separately.

Privacy Settings

What it is

Privacy Settings is where you can add a privacy policy page and other privacy-related pages to your site.

What to do

  1. Open Privacy Settings and add the privacy page(s) you need.
