Groups are the backbone of 360Player, and the structure you build now is the one your teams, payments and permissions will live in. It is worth ten minutes of thought before you start clicking.
What a group can be
Anything you need to treat as a unit: a team, an age group, a staff or board group, a training squad, a parents group. Most clubs end up with age groups at the top level and teams under them, plus one or two staff groups off to the side — but the tree is yours to shape.
Start with the top level
Create the groups closest to the club first, then work downwards. A new group inherits its parent's colour, badge, sport and age bands, so a well-placed group needs almost no configuration of its own — and a misplaced one needs all of it.
Then build it
The mechanics are in Create groups and subgroups: where the button is, the three-character minimum on names, and the two actions that let you fix a structure after the fact — Move group and Delete.
You need admin rights on the club to do any of this, and a computer rather than a phone: the organization tree is a drag-and-drop view that does not work well on a small screen.
