A membership card is a digital card a member gets when they buy a membership product. They find it in their own account, along with the cards of any children linked to them, and it carries a validity date so it can be checked at a door.
Turn a product into a membership
Go to Products and either create a product or open an existing one.
Turn on Use as membership for club. That is the switch that makes the product issue a card rather than just take a payment.
Click Save.
More than one product can be a membership — an adult one and a junior one, for example, priced differently and issuing the same kind of card.
Where the member finds their card
Buying the product assigns the member a membership with a validity date. The card is under Memberships in their account menu, below Billing. Every active membership is listed there, including any belonging to a linked child, and opening one shows the full card.
What the card is for
A card is proof of a current membership, so it is what you check when membership decides access or price — member-only discounts and promotions, and entry to events restricted to members.
