A membership card can show a QR code that anyone can scan to check whether the membership is valid right now — at the gate, at the door of a members-only session, or at a partner offering a member discount.
What the scanner sees
Scanning opens a page in the phone's browser. No 360Player account and no app are needed, so a volunteer on the door can use their own phone.
The page shows the member's name, your club badge and colours, the product the membership came from, Valid to with its expiry date (or No expiration), and a status label — Active or Expired. Under the card, one line gives the verdict: Membership is active or Membership has expired.
If the code cannot be trusted the page says Invalid QR Code — "This QR code has expired or is invalid. Please ask the cardholder to show a fresh QR code from their membership card."
Show the code as a member
Open the user menu and go to Memberships.
Tap the membership to open its card.
Tap the QR icon in the top corner of the card. The badge flips to a QR code; tap again to flip back.
The QR icon only appears while the membership status is Active. An expired or unpaid membership shows the card without one.
The code expires on purpose
Each code is signed and short-lived — the card requests a fresh one about every 50 seconds while it is open. That is what stops a screenshot being passed around: a saved image stops verifying within a minute or so and the scanner gets Invalid QR Code.
So the member has to open the card at the point of checking. Asking them to send you a photo in advance does not work, and that is by design rather than a fault.
Set a product up as a membership
Cards come from products, so the QR only exists once a member holds a membership product.
Go to Products and create or edit a product.
Turn on Use as membership for club.
Save. Anyone who buys it is given a membership with a validity date, and their card appears under Memberships.
You can have several products set up this way — one for adults and one for juniors, for example. See Membership card for the rest of the setup, and Create products for the product form itself.
Troubleshooting
No QR icon on the card. The membership is not Active — check the status label on the card and whether the invoice for it is paid.
Invalid QR Code on a member who is clearly paid up. The code shown was stale. Ask them to close and reopen the card, then scan again.
Nothing happens when the camera reads the code. The page is an ordinary web link — check the phone has a connection, and open the link manually if the camera app suppresses it.
The card shows for a child. A parent's Memberships page lists their children's memberships too, each with its own card and code.
