What it is: Page Structure is where you finalize the pages on your site — choosing which pages to keep from the template, creating new ones by duplicating an existing subpage or your saved page template (see Page layout), and removing the ones you don't need. It also covers ordering your pages and organizing them into the navigation menu. This panel is directly connected to your site's navigation, so any change you make here updates your menu automatically.
What to do:
We'll go through two workflows on how to structure your pages. If you're happy with the template page design you'll simply go trough the steps below about the Page structure workflow and remove or reorder pages. Renaming them and adjust the URL if needed.
If you've created a new page template as we looked at in the previous article about Page Layout you could keep the page template in the project for future pages and hiding it from the menu by unpublishing it from the page settings by set it as a draft.
Tips
Your site includes a couple of dynamic pages — Teams and News — which automatically generate pages from your 360Player data. Keep these, since you'll likely want them as your club's teams and news grow.
Go through every page's URL after renaming, since the auto-updated URL doesn't always match what you'd expect.
Setting a page as draft is a good middle ground between keeping and deleting it — you can publish it again later without rebuilding it.
There are a few additional page settings not covered here — worth exploring the three-dot menu to see what else is available.
Page structure workflow
Open the Pages icon on the left-hand side of the editor to see all the pages on your site.
Decide which pages to keep, and create any new ones by duplicating an existing subpage or your saved page template from Page layout.
Reorder your pages by dragging them up or down — this updates the order shown in your navigation menu.
Nest a page under another by dragging it to the right, underneath the page you want it to sit below.
To group pages without adding a clickable link to the menu, click "+ Add Page" and add a navigation folder, name it, then drag the relevant pages underneath it. The folder itself isn't clickable — it's only there to structure the pages beneath it.
Use the three-dot menu on each page for:
Rename: update the page title. This usually updates the page's URL automatically too, but it's worth double-checking every page's URL afterward to make sure it's correct.
Show/Hide from navigation: hides the page's link from the menu without unpublishing the page itself.
Duplicate: create a copy of the page, then rename it — the same approach used to build new pages from your template in Page layout.
Set as draft: unpublish the page without deleting it, useful if you want to save it for later. Publish it again whenever you're ready to bring it back.
Delete any pages you're sure you won't need, or set them as draft instead if you might use them later.
