A program or tryout is a set of calendar events that registrants pick when they sign up. Picking one signs them up for every event in it, so you don't schedule anyone by hand.
How programs and tryouts work
Only registrations of the Programs and Tryouts types have them, in a step called Programs or Tryouts. Older registrations that already had them show the step as Events, with Create event group. To pick a type, see Create a registration form.
Your club needs payments set up in 360Player to create one, even a free one.
Each one belongs to one group. Its events are created on that group's calendar, and each event shows which registration it is part of.
Saving the first one turns on Require a 360Player account for the registration, because registrants must have an account to be added to events.
Once an event in a program or tryout has started, registrants can no longer pick it. When all of them have started, the registration can no longer be submitted.
The setup step of the type already creates your first ones: one tryout per team for Tryouts, and Your first program for Programs.
Create a program or tryout
Open the registration and go to the Programs or Tryouts step.
Click Create program or Create tryout. If some already exist, click Create new program or Create new tryout.
Fill in the Title, and optionally a Location and Description.
Pick the Group the events are created in. You can't change the group after you save.
Under Organizers, click Select organizers to add people who organize every event.
If your club takes payments, set a price under Pricing and choose a Tax rate. Only payment admins can set a price, and the price is locked once you save.
Open Applies to all events to set the Meet time before event, Hide participants, who can see the events under Visibility, and whether to Show on website.
In the events calendar, pick every date the program or tryout runs on. Set the times once, then change any day that differs.
Click Save.
Duplicate a program or tryout
Click the duplicate icon on a program or tryout. A copy named with "(copy)" opens with the same settings, organizers and upcoming dates. Change what you need and click Save.
Delete a program or tryout
Click the delete icon on it and confirm. Its upcoming events are deleted too. Past events stay on the calendar.
What registrants see
The registration shows a Select your programs or Select your tryouts step. Registrants can pick more than one, and the price of each one they pick is added to what they pay. A program or tryout without dates, or one that has started, can't be picked.
Follow up after the registration opens
Open the registration and go to its Programs or Tryouts tab. It lists each one with how many people registered, its group, and how much is paid and past due.
Click one to open its own page. The Overview tab shows registrations and payments, sessions, settings, organizers and participants. The Schedule tab shows its events.
