Get started with payments (Adyen)

Step-by-step onboarding for clubs accepting payments via Adyen in 360Player — plus what each application status means and what to do next.

This guide walks you through onboarding your club to accept payments via Adyen in 360Player. Submitting takes about 15-30 minutes if you have your business documents ready; approval typically comes back in 15 minutes to 48 hours.

Before you start. Contact your 360Player representative to have Adyen enabled for your organization. You can't start onboarding until they activate it.

Step 1 — Open the onboarding portal

Once your representative has activated Adyen, go to Settings → Payments. You'll see your payment setup with an Open onboarding portal button — click it to start submitting your details. You can use this same button later to re-enter the portal if you need to update information.

Step 2 — Business details

Enter your business information. The exact fields depend on your business type. A common special case is unincorporated associations:

Unincorporated associations

If your association doesn't have a formal registration number, select Association as the business type. When you reach the registration number step, you can enter zeros (e.g. 000000) instead.

Step 3 — Decision makers and owners

Add information about key stakeholders: directors, signatories, board members, and anyone with more than 20% ownership. The fields required depend on the person's role and your business type. You may need to upload IDs or passports for some individuals.

Add each person only once. If someone holds multiple roles (e.g. director and signatory), select all the applicable roles on the same entry — don't create duplicate entries.

Step 4 — Bank account

Add the bank account where you want to receive payouts. Unless we've agreed otherwise, payouts run weekly to this account.

Name mismatch? If the bank account is held under a different name than your registered business name, go back to Business details and add a "doing business as" (DBA) name that matches the bank account holder. The names must match for Adyen to accept the account.

iOS limitation. You can't add or manage bank accounts from the 360Player iOS app. Use a web browser instead.

Step 5 — Sign the agreements

Anyone marked as a signatory in step 3 needs to sign both the service agreement and the PCI agreement with Adyen.

Step 6 — Submit

Once everything's filled in, your application is sent to Adyen for verification. Verification typically takes 15 minutes to 48 hours. Whenever your status changes, every payment administrator in your organization receives an email.

Application statuses

The status shown on Settings → Payments tells you where things stand:

  • Prepared — your representative has activated Adyen but you haven't started submitting details yet. Open the onboarding portal to begin.

  • Pending approval — your application is with Adyen for verification. Just wait — you'll get an email when something changes.

  • Information requested — Adyen needs more from you. Click Open onboarding portal to provide the missing details, or contact support if you're not sure what's needed.

  • Approved — you're verified and ready to collect payments.

  • Rejected — Adyen has declined the application. Contact 360Player support for next steps.

  • Unknown — something went wrong fetching your status. Contact your 360Player representative.

What you can do while waiting

While your application is Pending approval, you can keep setting up products, registration forms, and other payment-adjacent things in 360Player. You just can't actually collect payments until your status reaches Approved.
